APANO, the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon, is a volunteer-led, pan-Asian and Pacific Islander social justice advocacy organization. We are organizing 12 listening circles through our Many Rivers Project, in order to strengthen accountability with under-represented groups, understand the issues impacting our diverse communities, and building stronger relationships within APANO.
The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer (LGBTQ) Asian/Pacific Islander Listening Circle is open to persons of all ages who as identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer of Asian and/or Pacific Islander descent.
Our listening circle will focus on our stories and experiences from these identities.
*issues such as coming out, gender/racial oppression within our communities and more.
